Europe and Trade

Europe, although called a continent is actually part of the Euro-Asian continent and consist of 50 recognized and several partial recognized countries with a total of 745 million people being 11% of the world population.

Europe consist of several trade “blocks’ out of which the European Union (EU) is the largest and the most economic relevant, other organizations are;

NORDIC COUNCIL (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden)
BENELUX Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg (part of EU)
EFTA Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland
EEA Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway and all EU countries
FAA Andorra, Monaco and San Marino (micro states)
BAFTA Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, (part of EU)
CEFTA Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo
CISFTA Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Moldova. Belarus, Kazakhstan.
